Due to an increase in the size of our team, we are currently recruiting for a series of Windows network support positions. Primary responsibility is inter-office user support. Be present and visible in the Helpdesk area and available to users requiring technical assistance. Respond to questions from staff; remotely assist staff, managers, and team members with technology issues. Support commonly used software, hardware, and other equipment as needed. Follow standard helpdesk operating procedures. Stay updated on technology changes and problems. Ability to handle constantly changing flow of support volume; remain productive during slow times, be able to multi task during busy times; and patience and professionalism during stressful situations. The applicant must have flexibility for backfilling for peers when coverage is needed. This may include weekends and out-of-business hour if required.
Requirements:
- 2 years desktop support experience (both Linux and Windows).
- 2 years server support (both Linux and Windows).
- 2 years experience troubleshooting in a networked environment.
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines and priorities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and able to communicate with all levels of IT.
- Experience with Help Desk email ticketing system.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, LDAP, Office, Exchange, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Microsoft CRM
- Good understanding of PC/Server hardware (Dell).
- Strong understanding of Internet concepts and browser usage.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with writing system administration documentation
