Zopim is looking for a friendly tech support dude

We run a fast-growing Live Chat company and are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and technically-trained support representative to join our team. You would be handling Live Chat (obviously ;p) and ticketing support, for matters pertaining to pre-sales, account management issues, as well as level-1 technical support.

We love serving customers personally, but it's come to a point where we find our turnaround time deteriorating because of the volume of queries we have, many of which can be handled by capable technical support agents. This would allow us to give more attention to customers encountering real technical issues / bugs that only in-house engineers can handle.

Please contact us only if you have the same passion for customer support as we do. That's the one attribute we will not compromise on. Other requirements:
  1. Able to write well in a casual formal tone. It's not an oxymoron =)
  2. Able to think logically and troubleshoot problems without bringing customers around in circles
  3. Technically-trained. Self-taught / formal education doesn't matter, we'll run you through a test to gauge your technical abilities
  4. Wicked sense of humor. We have a fun team, we want you to have fun with us and vice versa.
