We are seeking a Content Directory / Editor to join our growing social media services group who will be responsible for the content creation blog for our 300+ clients.

Job Functions Duties & Responsibilities:

*Develop ideas for and assign approximately 75-100 short (150 words) pieces per week (e.g. restaurant overviews, lifestyle articles)
*Manage a team of staff and freelance writers
*Hire additional freelance and staff writers, as required
*Edit all writing produced by staff and freelance writers
*Use proprietary content management system to select content to be posted for customers

Skills & Requirements:

*Minimum of one to three years experience as an editor (or experience in a similar position)
*Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
*Proven ability to manage time in an efficient and effective manner as well as meet deadlines
*Expert knowledge of MS Word
*Strong familiarity with social media
(4 year college degree is required

Our competitive compensation package includes a base salary (high 30s to mid 40s depending on experience), phone and Internet allowance, health care benefits and 401(K). You will work from your home office. We are ideally looking for someone in the Philadelphia metro area but will consider exceptionally qualified candidates who live within driving distance of Philadelphia.
