Gila, LLC is building a new team of Collections Professionals, empowered to manage and collect on a portfolio of assigned clientele. You will work within a specialized team charged with recovering outstanding obligations on various types of consumer debt.

As a Collections Professional, you will initiate contact with customers in an outbound call environment and respond to customers regarding the status of their past due account. You will be responsible for the collection and financial resolution of outstanding balances, notifying and providing information to customers establishing financial arrangements and answering questions about the repayment process on assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and manage a personal portfolio of clientele
• Establishes contact with debtors for the purpose of collecting delinquent funds and bringing to final closure past due amounts while keeping strict adherence to all FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, and HIPAA regulations
• Reviews alternatives for payment with debtors
• Uses skip trace tools provided to locate debtors
• Adheres to schedule and work standards
• Monitors payment status of accounts
• Ensures all legal and company efforts have been taken to collect accounts
• Maintains proper documentation of discussions with debtors and enters information into our systems of record
• Maintains or exceeds pre-established goals relating to the collection of past-due accounts

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 3-5 Years of Collections Experience Required
• Consultative approach, driven to exceeding goals and reaping the financial rewards
• Typing of a minimum of 25 words per minute and strong data input skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Effective probing and listening skills
• Promptness and accountability
