We are looking for:
• An energetic person with great work ethic to be a part of our freelance team.
• Must be flexible, friendly, honest and reliable!
• Up to date in listed technology.
• Willing to work from home with possible day or two in office ( Hutto, TX)
• Must have your own equipment and software
• Must be available during normal business hours and utilize Skype!
• We want someone who is willing to jump in and tackle what needs to be done. . .
Someone who likes learning new things and is open to new challenges. A team player!
Job Description
You will be building websites as part of a small team consisting of a Project Manager, Designers, and a Marketing Consultant. The project manager will interface with the client and the designer will provide you with a PSD file of the layout. You're job will be to take the project from PSD through to completion and launch, as well as update, edit and maintain existing WordPress sites.
Front-End: Build a website from a PSD proof. Splice PSD document. Create a table-less wireframe with HTML and CSS that matches initial proof. Use JavaScript or the jQuery library for user interaction (image galleries, sliders, drop-down navigation, contact forms, etc.). Turn website into a fully functional WordPress template. Make sure the final website is cross-browser friendly. Install and configure WordPress plugins. Possible client training in WordPress.
Back-End: Create a MySQL database and install WordPress. Configure WordPress installation and Administrative Panels. Use an FTP client to make updates.
Must Have Skillset:
• HTML
• CSS
• Javascript (jQuery & Ajax)
• WordPress
• FTP
It Would Be Nice if you have some experience with:
• PHP
• MySQL
• HTML5
• SEO
• Google Analytics
Software & Methodologies
• Non-WYSIWYG HTML editor
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
