Littlefield Corporation, the largest owner of charitable bingo halls in Texas and the US, is looking for a social media specialist. This is a ground floor opportunity for a Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo, Foursquare, text, blog and wordpress wizard who will be involved in the strategy, planning and implementation of the social media marketing foundation for a portfolio of 40 bingo halls in Texas, South Carolina, Alabama and Florida.
We are looking for consistency, quality and creativity in the initial work product and thereafter aggressive implementation in the operation of your creation.
Littlefield needs someone who is cutting edge computer literate, knows the social media cold, understands blogs and is a creative person. It would be ideal if you had a marketing degree, knew MS Office completely and could write well. The marketing education or experience is an important consideration but not a deal killer.
This is a full time and permanent position and you are not likely to work yourself out of a job.
We are a stable public company and not a start up. We offer a comprehensive benefits package --- healthcare including dental, 5 sick days, 10 paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation right out of the chute. We will pay you a good wage --- this is not a slave labor sweat shop intern, part time job.
If you work crazy hours, then we will compensate you by the hour including overtime. Our working conditions are very nice and we are headquartered at 2501 N Lamar Blvd here in Austin --- corner of 25th and Lamar. You get a free parking space. You will be able to work from home or remotely on occasion once you have developed the appropriate credibility. No you can't go to Colorado for the summer and dial it in.
We have no preconceived notions as to how old or experienced you might be and again we will pay you a good and fair wage, so if you are right out of school, please do not hesitate to apply or if you are currently working freelance and might like a more permanent gig, please apply.
