NY part-time Bookkeeper job, able to work from home

One person accounting office. seeking a part-time (2 days per week) Bookkeeper to assist the Office Manager in their Manhattan office. You will be able to work from home roughly 70 percent of the time. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. MUST BE EXPERT IN QUICKBOOKS.

  1. • Accounting Degree
  2. • At least 5 years experience bookkeeping using Quickbooks
  3. • Strong Attention to detail
  4. • Strong knowledge of applications including Microsoft Office and Excel
  5. • Must have ability to multitask & be organized

Bookkeeping / Accountant Responsibilities include:
  1. • Use of Quickbooks for general ledger
  2. • Bank Reconciliations
  3. • Client Expense Organization/Filing
  4. • Vendor & Billed Invoice Reports.
  5. • Process and filing of all transactions for proper client expense recording
  6. • Bill Processing, Accounts Payable / Receivable
  7. • Look for and recommend process improvements for all areas of the general ledger and balance sheet
Compensation: $30 Per Hour, DOE
