Austin CSR remote job, Part-Time Customer Service Representative

Position Title: Remote Agent - Remote Customer Service Representative
Position Classification: Hourly - Part Time
Shift Requirements: Monday through Friday, 10:30 am to 7:30 pm
Reports to: Senior Group Manager of Customer Service
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Answer incoming and making outbound customer service phone calls
* Provide excellent customer service in call center environment
* Handle daily tasks in department including, but not limited to responding to customer e-mail, processing reports and other side duties
* All other tasks as assigned by management

* Ability to handle projects and duties simultaneously while staying within established metrics of call center.
* Positive attitude and punctuality.
Computer Requirements:
* PC running Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, 32-bit edition of any Windows OS is highly encouraged.
* Minimum 1 GB RAM (512 MB for Microsoft XP)
* Minimum 5 GB free hard drive disk space
* Minimum Processor: Intel Pentium 4, Intel Celeron D, or AMD Athlon XP
* Minimum Sound Adapter: Full Duplex
* Minimum Internet Browser: Mozilla v3.5.8 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 6
* Current anti-virus software with updated definitions
* Firewall installed and operating or Windows firewall turned on
Internet Requirements:
* Broadband or LAN subscription through reliable, high-speed, hardwired bi-directional Internet connection with minimum Ethernet access method
* No analog dial-up, satellite or wireless Internet service (A wireless connection within the confines of your home is acceptable as long as your DSL or Cable connection is hard-wired)
Headset Requirements:
* A USB headset that plugs via USB port into your computer.
* USB headset minimum requirements:
o Must feature a microphone
o Connects to your computer via a USB port
o Features a mute button
o Must be operational while being hands-free
This is a remote position after training. All candidates are required to work from their location in a communication environment that does not include background noise from radio/television, family members or household pets. (We have a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate background noise).
