Atlanta proofreader job, Copy-editing part-time job work from home

Scoutmob's daily email + website + mobile platform aims to give consumers huge deals on great local businesses, as well as a connection to their local scene. While most of the daily deal sites out there require consumers to pay up front and print out coupons, Scoutmob's deals are free to consumers and operate on a mobile platform. These deals + daily content act as awesome incentives for people to get out and explore their city. Meanwhile, businesses have a more measurable ways to drive new customers.

And while we're talking about how great we are, let's just add that we were voted Mashable's Top 5 Best Mobile Apps, Rolling Stone's Top 10 Tech Trends for 2011 and Forbes 21 Cool Products & Services You Can Get For Free. . . among other great publicity.

In other words, we prefer a healthy sense of humor and personality.

Tech- and social media-savvy. (preferred)
Bachelor's degree in journalism (or a related field)
An understanding of AP Style (but the desire to break from "the rules" when necessary).
